His basic training in Corporate Finance entails the gamut of corporate planning, mergers & acquisitions, business & corporate restructuring, resource mobilization from Indian and International sources, capital markets, investor relations, commercial, secretarial, legal and other functions. Hard work and support from all quarters has helped him rise through the junior and middle management relatively quickly and has been a part of the senior management team for more than a decade and a half. As a part of the senior management, he has overseen all line and support functions, including human resources, industrial relations, operations, marketing, business development, information technology, credit control and quality assurance. He has also led a joint venture with an Indian and International partner.

He emphasizes on developing deep understanding of the fundamentals of business with a focus on honing communication and negotiation skills. Most of his work has been in the Indian business environment with strong international linkages, which has given him an insight into the liberalized Indian business environment on a global canvas.

His academic background of Masters in Physics and Masters in Business Management has given him a strong foundation for conceptual clarity, analytical ability, and quantitative and qualitative appreciation of multiple variables in business.

He was involved with tax administration and investigation in the Department of Income Tax. During his tenure, he also served in the capacity as Director, Government of India and Department of Fertilizers from December, 1997 to February, 2002 and has been associated with number of public sector companies as Director and has been Chairman & Managing Director of Pyrites, Phosphates & Chemicals Ltd., a Government of India Enterprise. Mr. Sharma has widely travelled across the globe and has attended various seminars on different issues of management.

Mr. Sanjeev Shankar

Mr. Sanjeev Shankar is a Lawyer by profession and a Philanthropist by nature and action. He started his career as a Government Servant and served the Government for more than 18 years and took voluntary retirement in the year 1996 from Delhi Government. His passion for Philanthropy leads him to establish Manav Ashray, a project run as an NGO, which provides highly subsidized Boarding and Lodging facilities with free food to patients (primarily Cancer/Critical Patients) and their attendants, who come to Delhi for Medical Treatment. The setting up of Manav Ashray has proved to be very successful. Since its inception in 2004, It has provided subsidized boarding and lodging to more than 10.0 Lakh people. The Institution does not take any Donations or Grants.

Mr. Ajit Kumar Hazarika

Mr. Ajit Kumar Hazarika (63 years) is a First Class Mechanical Engineering Graduate from Assam Engineering College, Guwahati, Assam. He joined ONGC as Graduate Trainee in 1975 and after successful training of one year joined as Class I Executive Officer in March, 1977. He got initial posting at Assam Asset as Cementing Engineering and in due course of time, due to mere hard work and performance he was promoted to different levels and main highlight of his career growth was double promotion from the level of GM (Drilling) to Executive Director from 1.1.2003 when he was posted at Mumbai and was Head of Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) of Mumbai High Redevelopment Project, one of the most prestigious project of ONGC. Leading from the front as MDT Head he took several innovative decision, out of box thinking to reduce cost of the project and at the same time improved production of Oil & Gas, made many unviable sub-project viable. In the same year, i.e., in 2003, he was selected by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) as Director (Onshore) for ONGC Board as one of the youngest Directors in ONGC Board. He continued as Director of ONGC Board for nearly 8 years and in between he had additional charge of Chairman and Managing Director for 8 months from February, 2011 to October, 2011. He served in Assam, Chennai, Mumbai Offshore and Delhi. He self superannuated in October, 2012.

Ms. Shraddha Prithvi Rj is the Joint Managing Director of Jindal SAW Limited, a part of USD 38 billion O.P Jindal Group. She is carrying the legacy of her visionary grandfather Sh. O. P. Jindal, the founder of the O. P. Jindal Group, popularly known as the Man who saw doors where other saw walls. And, following the footsteps of her family of business leaders namely Mr. P.R Jindal, her father (Chairperson, Jindal SAW Ltd.) and her uncles Mr. Sajjan Jindal (Chairperson, JSW Group), Mr. Ratan Jindal (Chairperson & MD, JSL) and Mr. Naveen Jindal (Chairperson, JSP).

This endeavor not only promotes sustainable waste management but also transforms Municipal solid waste into renewable energy and addresses issues like soil and water pollution, along with landfill space constraints. Under the aegis of JITF Urban Infrastructure Ltd., projects are operational at Guntur and Vishakhapatnam and have recently set-up Gujarat’s largest Waste-to-Energy Plant in Ahmedabad inaugurated by Hon’ble Sh. Amit Bhai Shah and Hon’ble Sh. Bhupendra Bhai Patel. As a part of the business expansion plan, company will soon set up plants at Jaipur and Jodhpur as well.

Under her stewardship, Guntur Waste Energy Plant has been conferred with Best Plant Operations from Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board. Apart from being the visionary businesswoman, Ms. Shraddha also wears a creative hat by taking keen interest in company’s digital communications.
